Using the Panasonic DVX-100B
This video, produced for my Systems Approach to Organizational Training class at Elizabethtown College is designed to teach senior citizens, specifically residents of the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA, the bare minimums required to record a video using the Panasonic DVX-100B video camera. Topics include locating the battery and tape, white balancing, setting up a tripod, and reviewing the footage using the “VCR” mode on the camera. Remnants of life in a container
Mr.Tadiyapan is a senior citizen who lives in a container in Tanjung Bunga Penang for 4 years, after he was dismissed from employment. He was born in penang in 1939 and he is now 72 years old and was living alone in a container at a construction site in Tanjung Bunga Penang. 4 years ago he lost a job as a security guard as a result of vision problems suffered by diabetics and he was unable to pay rent for the house he lived. Now he is getting help from the public on daily basis. Now his future is uncertain and the possibility he could be driven from the place he lived after the project was completed at a construction site. Now he hopes the government and the welfare department to help him to find a permanent solution.
