This band has been in existence for over 35 years, and is a part of the Nassau County, Long Island, NY “RSVP” (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) program. Its members consist of retired members of varied occupations whose musical skills and enjoyment don’t retire with their careers. They also play some original arrangements of Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Gene Krupa, Louis Armstrong, and some Broadway Show tunes.
